ユーロ圏総合PMI、10月も縮小-景気回復の兆しほぼ見えず
(ブルームバーグ): ユーロ圏民間部門の経済活動は10月も縮小した。域内の主要経済大国であるドイツとフランスが重しとなり、景気回復の兆しはほぼ見えない。
S&Pグローバルが24日に発表した10月のユーロ圏HCOB総合購買担当者指数(PMI)速報値は49.7と、エコノミスト予想に一致。前月の49.6からは若干上昇した。同指数で50は景気拡大・縮小の境目を示唆する。
ユーロ圏PMIは年初に好調なスタートを切ったが、その後失速。景気が再び停滞するのではないかとの懸念が強まっている。特に足を引っ張っているのがドイツだ。同国の大手メーカーなどは、エネルギーコストの上昇や中国の需要軟化に直面している。ドイツのPMIは10月に前月からわずかに上昇したが、フランスは一段と縮小した。期待されている消費もまだ回復してない。
HCOB(ハンブルク商業銀行)のチーフエコノミスト、サイラス・デラルビア氏は「ユーロ圏はやや停滞している」と指摘、「今も続く製造業の低迷はサービス業の小幅な成長によってほぼ相殺されている」と述べ、「現時点では近い将来に一段と悪化するのか、それとも改善が見られるのかは分からない」と続けた。
