世界の経済成長、一段とBRICS頼みに-G7の貢献度低下
(ブルームバーグ): 国際通貨基金(IMF)の最新予測によると、世界経済は主要新興国から成るBRICSに一段と大きく依存し拡大し、成長への貢献度という点で主要7カ国(G7)の存在感は小さくなる。
IMFが今週発表した購買力平価(PPT)に基づく予測によれば、半年前の見通しと比較し、今後5年間は中国やインド、ロシア、ブラジルといったBRICS加盟国が世界の経済成長をより強くけん引してくことになる。
一方、米国やドイツ、日本を含むG7の寄与度は下方修正された。
ブルームバーグが新たなIMF予測を用いて算出したところによると、中国は今後5年、世界経済の成長に最も大きく貢献する国となる。成長の約22%を占め、この割合はG7全体よりも大きい。インドもまた成長の大きな原動力で、2029年までに経済成長の15%近くを占めると見込まれている。
日本とドイツの割合は1.7%だが、これはエジプトと同じ。ベトナムの1.4%はフランスと英国と同水準となる。
米経済は過去四半世紀、特に新型コロナウイルスのパンデミック(世界的大流行)期の力強い拡大により、世界成長への貢献度が先進国の中で圧倒的に高い国となっている。だが、インドや中国といった人口大国の軌跡と比較すると、米国はPPTベースで世界経済におけるシェアを維持できていない。
