ブラックストーン所有のVFSグローバル、テマセクが出資へ-関係者
(ブルームバーグ): シンガポールの政府系投資会社テマセク・ホールディングスは、VFSグローバルの少数株を取得する合意に近づいている。事情に詳しい関係者が明らかにした。
米ブラックストーンが経営権を握るVFSはビザ(査証)業務などの委託を受けるテクノロジーサービス企業で、負債を含め同社の価値を70億ドル(約9900億円)と評価する取引となる可能性があるという。
テマセクは非公開企業であるVFSの約20%を取得する方向。非公開の情報だとして関係者が匿名を条件に語った。テマセクとブラックストーンは16日にも発表され得る取引の詳細を詰めていると、関係者は説明した。
関係者によると、取引後もブラックストーンはVFSの株式過半数を握る株主であり続ける。交渉は継続中で、最終決定はまだだという。
ブラックストーンとテマセクの広報担当者はコメントを控えた。
ブルームバーグ・ニュースは13日、政府系ファンドなどの投資家からVFSに関心を示されたブラックストーンは、VFSの完全または部分的な売却を含む選択肢を検討していると報じていた。

VFSはスイスのチューリヒとアラブ首長国連邦(UAE)のドバイに本社を置き、パスポート(旅券)申請の処理やビザ領事サービスなどの行政ソリューションを提供。インド国内でも大きな存在感を示しており、米国の総領事館などでビザ業務を請け負っている。
